A sapling, or young tree, is planted in a garden. After 3 years, it is 200 cm tall. After 7 years, it is 642 cm tall. How tall will the tree be after 10 years?

Answer:

I believe is 1105

Explanation:

You first find the difference between 7 years and 3 years which is 4 years.

Then you subtract 642 and 200, you get 442. Then you divide 442 by 4 years to find how much cm it grows in a year to then multiply by 10 years.

When dividing 442 by 4 years you get 110.5 cm. You multiply it by 10 years and know you get 1101. Hope this helps!
