The "T" in a SMART goal stands for timely. Therefore, a description of being timely is that being timely helps you be accountable and helps you when it comes to being motivated.

Hope I helped some! :)

T stands for Timely or Time bound.

Explanation:

SMART is an acronym for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic/Relevant and Time Bound. In that T stands for Timely, Time bound or tangible activity or goal.

With well defined T, that is a timeline, a starting date and closing date are fixed. The purpose of that is to create the urgency to accomplish the task. If the goal is not Time constrained then there won’t be any motivation or urgency to accomplish the target goal.

Time will also remind us few things:

  1. Setting of deadline for goals .
  2. What time I have to achieve the target goal.
  3. It helps to adjust our focus towards activities.
