If a = 6, b = 7, and c = 12, find a^2 + b^2 and find c^2. Which value is greater? I know the answers are 85, 144 and c^2. However, i forgot the steps needed to get these. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

a^2 mean you multiply the number 2 times
then a^2 = 6x6 = 36
b^2 = 7x7 = 49
c^2 = 12x12 = 144
so a^2 + b^2 = 36 + 49 = 85
c^2 = 144
