Solve the equation 4(x - 3) = 16

first distribute 4 to x and -34x-12=16 ---> add 12 to get rid of it on one side but u have to add it to 16 also4x(-12+12) 12s cancel out now we have ---> 4x=16=12 add4x=28now divide 4 by both sided too 4/4 x=284rz cancle out so u have --> x=28/4 reducex= 7

so your answer would be x=7
