The correction of the text is as follows:

People in the world drink more than 260 million glasses of soda every day. Wow, that’s nearly as many sodas as there are people in the United States, and nearly three times the number of miles from the Earth to the Sun! People drink more sodas than there are cubic yards of concrete in the Grand Coulee Dam. More sodas than anyone cares to count! Why would health-conscious people put so much fizz into their stomachs?

Note: some words have the same pronunciation, but different spelling. In this text you can see that the right words would be "would" instead of "wood" and "their" instead of "there". Apart from that, some words are to be capitalized, e.g. planets: the Earth, instead of the Earth; while there are words that need no capitalization, e.g.: soda, instead of Soda.

The remaining mistakes present in the original text have to do with punctuation, which were added to introduce pauses in the text.
