the nose is a sensory organ, the nose can smell things that could be toxic to your body and avoid them. say someone poured gasoline on your sandwich without you knowing, you would be able to smell the gasoline and refrain from eating the sandwich

Eyes are sensory organs because sight is one of the major senses. Eyes process light, allowing us to differentiate colors and shapes to create an image of the surrounding environment.
