Solution: There is exactly one solution, the lines intercept at one point, they are not the same line, so they do not have infinite solutions, and if they were to not intercept, they would have no solution.

Explanation:

Set the equations equal

-2x-4=3x+3
+4 +4

-2x=3x+7

-3x -3x

-5x=7

/-5

x=-7/5

Plug x back into one of the equations

y=-2(-7/5)-4

y=-6/5
