Karen has 3 quarts of apple juice. To equally pour 32 cups of apple juice for her preschool class she needs 2 gallons of apple juice. How many more quarts does Karen need

1 gallon = 4 quarts.

2 gallons = 4 x2 = 8 quarts

She needs 8 quarts total and has 3 quarts.

8-3 = 5

She needs 5 more quarts.
