Answer:

X = (-2)

Y = (-5)

- 7x + 5y= (-11) -------(1)

-4x + 3y,= (-7) ----------(2)

Solving by using elimination method

Multiplying eq 1 with 3 and eq 2 with 5

3( -7x + 5y) = 3(-11)

5(- 4x + 3y) = 5(-7)

-21x + 15y = (-33)

-20x + 15y,= (-35)

Subtracting both the eq.

-x = 2

x = (-2)

Putting this value in eq. 1

- 7x + 5y= (-11)

-7(-2)+ 5y= (-11)

14 + 5y = (-11)

5y = (-11) - 14

5y= (-25)

y = (-5)
