Answer: p=2, q=-1

Explanation:


(√(3)-1)/(√(3)+1) \left((√(3)-1)/(√(3)-1) \right)=(3+1-2√(3))/(2)=(4-2√(3))/(2)=2-√(3)\\\\\therefore p=2, q=-1
