How do you convert 20x + 9y = 9 into slope intercept form?

20x+9y=9

First, the formula for slope intercept is y=mx+b
So, in order to get it in the slope form we have to subtract 20x from both sides.
We end up with, 9y=-20x+9
We have to get rid of the 9 so we divide.
9y=-20x+9
/9 /9. /9
I don’t want to write the answer because I want you too find it out. :) hope this helps!

Answer:

y = - (20)/(9) x + 1

Explanation:

20x + 9y = 9 \\ \\ 9y = - 20x + 9 \\ \\ y = - (20)/(9) x + (9)/(9) \\ \\\purple {y = - (20)/(9) x + 1} \\ this \: is \: the \: required \: \\slope \: - intercept \: form \\ \ \\ where \: \\ slope \: = - (20)/(9) \\ \\ y - intercept = 1
