Find x if 2+x = -2/3 ​

It should be X = -8/3

X = -8/3
First you want to isolate x by subtracting 2 from -2/3. To do this make sure there is a common denominator of 3 so our equation is now x=-6/3 -2/3 which with regular subtraction is -8/3.
