Pls Help me I'm so confused. All I know is that this question is about the System of Equations

Alex spent $14 on a movie ticket and a large box of popcorn. Popcorn costs $4 less than a movie ticket. How much did the large box of popcorn cost?


A. $4


B. $5


C. $6


D. $7

Since we know that a box of dollars is 4 dollars less we can use the equation, that means we just have to guess and check.

If the popcorns cost five dollars to that means the ticket is 9 dollars.

To check just add them together. 9 +5=14 so it is correct
