Answer:

Y intercept is 0, slope is 15

Explanation:

Hi! This is 2023elliottsg I just now found your question, the y intercept is 0 because the line meets the y axis at (0,0)

the slope is 30/2 which simplifies to 15 because from point (4,60) it rises 30 and runs 2 over to point (6,90)

Answer:

See below

Explanation:

Hello! I see your teacher is a Harry Potter fan. Anyways,

1) The y-intercept is when you plug x as 0 or it's when the line crosses the y axis. The easiest way to find the y-intercept is to look at the graph and see where the graph starts off from the y axis.

We can see that the line starts off from (0,0) so the y-intercept is (0,0).

In this case, the y-intercept represents the initial income when you haven't start working yet.

2) The formula for slope is y2-y1/x2-x1. We can find any two points on the line to do this equation. Lets take (0,0) and (2,30).

Let's now plug in the y, 30 - 0

And then the x, 2 - 0

Together they are 30 - 0/ 2 - 0

Or 30/2 = 15.

The slope is 15

In this case, the slope represents the amount of income earned per hour/every hour.
