Answer:

Hypotenuse of first triangle is 7.61

Hypotenuse of second triangle is 45

Explanation:

Given that:

Triangle 1:

a = 3

b = 7

Using Pythagorean theorem;

a²+b²=c²

(3)^2+(7)^2=c^2\\9+49=c^2\\c^2=58

Taking square root on both sides

√(c^2)=√(58)\\

c = 7.61

Hypotenuse is 7.61

Triangle 2:

a = 27

b = 36

Using Pythagorean theorem;

a²+b²=c²

(27)^2+(36)^2= c^2\\729+1296=c^2\\c^2=2025

Taking square root on both sides

√(c^2)=√(2025)\\

c=45

Hypotenuse is 45

Hence,

Hypotenuse of first triangle is 7.61

Hypotenuse of second triangle is 45
