Answer: 7/12

Step by Step Explanation:
To add these together you have to make the denominator the same, so for this question I'm changing the denominator to 12; To turn 1/3 to ?/12 you need to do 12 divided by 3 which equals 4 so you do 1 x 4 so 1/3 is 4/12

For 1/4 you do 12 divided by 4 which is 3 so you times the numerator by 3; so it's 3/12, now you can add 4/12 and 3/12 which is 7/12.
