Gravitational field strength is accelerations due to gravity which is 9.8m/s² ( you can round it up and take 10 as well)

Mass = Force ÷ Acceleration

20 ÷ 9.8 = 2.04

Potential energy = 2.04 x 9.8 x 0.40

= 7.99 = 8 J
