WHO WANTS 25 POINTS? Okay so you know that new magma forms due to subduction, the oceanic plate sinking below the continental plate because it is denser. My question is, would volcanoes not exist if it weren't for subduction?

I pretty sure no. Because when the two earth plates crash into each other , it starts to create a volcano. But then again maybe mankind would make something that’s could represent a volcano. Lmk if I’m wrong.
Have a good day:)
