Explanation:

So we will have, x, as a random number

Example with a positive number: (x*-1= -x)

Example with a negative number: (-x*-1=x)

So you can tell that if I did it with a positive number, it turns negative, and a negative number goes positive.

Example of opposites: -5 and 5, or 3 and -3

Lets say x was 5, the first example would be: (5*-1=-5)

The second example would be: (-5*-1=5)
