Answer:

Number of student (not Bike) = 12

Number of student (Bike) = 84

Total student = 96

Explanation:

Given:

Probability of student have bike = 7/8

Computation:

Assume;

Number of student (Bike) = a

Number of student (not Bike) = b

So,

a-b = 72

So,

a / (a+b) = 7/8

8a = 7a + 7b

a = 7b

So,

a-b = 72

7b - b = 72

6b = 72

b = 12

Number of student (not Bike) = 12

Number of student (Bike)

a -12 = 72

a = 84

Number of student (Bike) = 84

Total student = 84 + 12

Total student = 96
