Explain how to round a number to the nearest ten.

Explanation:

Say you want to round the number 5.43

you pay attention to the 3

if the number is 4 or lower, the number stays 5.4

but if the number is 5 or above, you round up so it would be 5.5

but since the number is 5.43 u just leave it as 5.4

after the decimal, the first number is the tenth place, if the second number after the decimal is 5 or bigger then you round up the first number after the decimal. if it’s lower than 5 then you keep the same number
