A circular racetrack has a circumference of one mile which is 5,280 feet. What is the radius of the racetrack?

To get any radius from the circumference of a circle, you divide it by 2. (because radius is halfway through the circle to a point) .. 5,280 / 2 = 2,640 !! Hope this helps

The answer is 2,640 because radius is from center of an object to the perimeter. So divide 5,280 by 2 to get the half which is the same as the center
