next you want to make the M by itself so you are going to subtract 3 from both sides so 3m-3 and 30-3.

30-3=27

okay now your problem should look like this 18<27

then you are going to divide the problem 27/18

once you divide 27/18 1.5 should be your answer or if you need it in a fraction form your answer will be 1 1/2
