In Triangle MNP, the measure of angle M is 24 degrees. The Measure of angle N is five times the Measure of angle P. Find Measure <N and Measure <P.​

Answer:

<P = 26 degrees

<N = 130 degrees

Explanation:

The sum of angle of a triangle is 180, hence

<M + <N + <P = 180

If the Measure of angle N is five times the Measure of angle P, then;

<N = 5<P

<M = 24 degrees

Substotute into the formula

24 + 5<P + <P = 180

24 + 6<P = 180

6<P = 180-24

6<P = 156

<P = 156/6

<P = 26 degrees

Since <N = 5<P

<N = 5(26)

<N = 130 degrees

Hence the measure of <P is 26 degrees and that of <N is 130 degrees
