Explanation:

(0.2)/(100) x
(x)/(1) =6

multiply the fractions

(0.2x)/(100) =
(6)/(1)

cross multiply

0.2x = 600

Divide both sides by the coefficient of

$(0.2x)/(0.2) = (600)/(0.2) \\x = 3000$
