\underline{\rm \large\; \orange{Solution}:- \; }

Given ,

  • Percentage of money spent = 65%
  • Money left = 390$

We need to find ,

  • Total pocket money = ?

Let the total money be
\textsf{\textbf{x}}

So now ,

\sf \longrightarrow ( 100\% - 65\% ) of x = 390

\sf\longrightarrow (35)/(100) * x = 390

\sf\longrightarrow x = 390 * (100)/(35)

\sf\longrightarrow \underline{\boxed{\textbf{\textsf{Total\:pocket\:money$=$1114.28}}}} $

Hence , his total pocket money was 1114.28 $
