Answer:

A) 10203

B) 132.46

Explanation:

1)Using the 3061 pesos for the $150, and x pesos for $500

(150)/(3061)=(500)/(x), from there you can cross-multiply to get

150x=1530500, and you divide by 150 to get

x=10203.33, and you round to the nearest whole number to get

x=10203

2)Using the 3060 pesos for the $150, and (10203-7500) pesos for $x.

10203-7500=2703

(150)/(3061)=(x)/(2703), from there you cross-multiply to get

3061x=405450, and you divide by 3061 to get

x=132.4567, and you round to the nearest penny(nearest hundredth) to get

x=132.46
