Answer:

2 Outfits

Explanation:

Materials\ Dan\ has:\\*2\ pair\ of\ shoes\\\*4\ pairs\ of\ pants\\*6\ pair\ of\ shirts\\Knowing\ that\ 1\ outfit\ requires,\ 1\ pair\ of\ shoes, 1\ pair\ of\ pants,\\ 1/2\ pair\ of\ shirts(1\ shirt).\\Now,\\As\ Dan\ has\ 2\ pairs\ of\ shoes,\ he\ could\ make\ 2\ outfits\ with\ it.\\As\ Dan\ has\ 4\ pairs\ of\ pants,\ he\ could\ make\ 4\ outfits\ with\ it.\\As\ Dan\ has\ 6\ pairs\ of\ shirts,\ he\ could\ make\ 12\ outfits\ with\ it.\\

Hence,\\At\ the\ maximum\ he\ could\ make\ only\ 2\ complete\ outfits\ using\ all\ the\ materials\ he\ has.

He can make 4 outfits why?
Because he only has 4 pants and he can change his shirt but with the same pants and they can use their shoes everyday!
