Now the perimeter of the circle is one the sides of the rectangle:

Pc = 2PI*r

Pc = 2*3.14*(11.4/2)

Pc = 35.796 yd

Now the area of the rectangle is:

Ar = 7.8yd*35.796yd

Ar = 279.2088 yd2

Then, the surface area of prism is:

Aprism = Ac1 + Ac2 + Ar
