y= mx+b

m is the slope and b is thhe y-intercept

y = mx + 3

between points (3, 1.2) and (0,3) the slope is

m= (y2-y1)/ (x2-x1) = (1.2-3) / (3-0) = -1.8/3 = -0.6

y = -0.6x +3
