Solution -

This is a right angled triangle

Using Pythagoras theorem , which is Sum of square of altitude and base is equal to hypotenuse

(5)² + (X )² = (8)²

25+ X^2 = 64

X^2 = 64 - 25

X^2 = 39

X= root 39
