Mapp v Ohio. the outcome of this Supreme Court decision to prevent prosecutors from being able to use any evidence against them that was obtained in a way that violated the fourth amendment ( No unreasonable searches or seizures)

Miranda v Arizona, the Supreme Court ruled that under the 5th American you cannot use evidence or a plea of guilt from a police interrogation if you were not offered a lawyer or did not consult with one beforehand.

This stopped police interrogators from denying attorneys and attempting to coerce an admission of guilt to use in court.
