Prithviraj Chauhan was defeated by Muhammad Ghori in the First Battle of Tarain. The Second Battle of Tarain took place in the year 1192 CE. Prithviraj Chauhan, the Rajput ruler of India was defeated by Muhammad Ghori in the Second Battle of Tarain.
