I think it is C y= 4/5 because if a line is parallel to the x-axis then it’s a zero slope, and it’s perpendicular to the y-axis

Slope form is y=mx + b

No slope so no mx

Y = what ever (number) point the line crosses over the y-axis

The equation would be y = b
So y= 4/5 is the only possible solution

Answer:

C. y = 4/5

Explanation:

A line that is parallel to the x axis and perpendicular to the y axis will be a horizontal line.

Horizontal lines have a slope of 0, so the equation of the line will not have x in them.

Since horizontal lines will have a constant y value, the equation will have y = in the beginning.

So, C is the correct answer.
