Answer:

For A;

x1 = -2, y1 = -3, x2 = 3, y2 = 7

Gradient = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

= (7 - (-3))/(3 - (-2))

= 10/5 = 2.

For B;

x1 = 7, y1 = -2, x2 = -2, y2 = 7

Gradient = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

= (7 - (-2))/(-2 - 7)

= 9/-9 = -1.
