Answer/step-by-step explanation:

Well, we know that 50 x 4 = 200.

We also know that 4 x 100 = 400, and 50 x 10 = 500.

Therefore, in order to find the answer to 500 x 400, we need to multiply 200 by 1000, or 100 x 10.

200 x 1000 = 200,000

Therefore, 500 x 400 = 200,000.

Hope this helps! :D

If you do 50 times 4 it’s easier to find 500 times 400 because all you have to do it add 3 more zeros behind 200 making the answer be 200,000.
