Alternative: "My main choice no longer seems like a plausible option, but my only alternative is not satisfactory, either."

Ambiguous: "My teacher recited multiple ambiguous quotes from her favorite poet."

Analogy: "Her point wasn't getting across, so she came up with an analogy to more adequately substantiate her claim."

Coherent: "The second grader's homework was hardly coherent."

Compile: "I've compiled a lengthy list of my favorite restaurants."

Convey: "The man attempted to adequately convey his feelings, but he continued to feel pressured by the crowd."

Derive: "Many modern English words are derived from Latin and Greek terminologies."

Although the ending from the book "of mice in men" was intriguing; I wish it could have an alternative ending where Lennie is alive.
