Drinking contaminated water can effect you immediately, or may not be noticed for many months. Effects include gastrointestinal and stomach illnesses like: nausea.and Vomiting Cause your body is trying to get rid of all the toxins. It could give the community or individual lead poisoning or a disease that can contaminate water. A disease can cause contamination. Like mosquitos and their eggs. The mosquito might be carrying west Nile, ebola, or Zika and that can be spread by it laying an egg in our drinking water causing contamination. if a person drank faucet/tap water, they would get infected with that disease because the eggs travel through the water pipe to homes. This can cause problems to our health.
