first multiply 2/3*9x=6x
then multiply 2/3*-6=-4
this being 6x-4.
then multiply 4*x=4x
then multiply 4*2=8
this being 4x+8.
so we have 6x-4=4x+8+2
we add the 8+2=10
6x-4=4x+10
now we subtract the x to both sides (choose 4x)
2x-4=10
now we add 4 to both sides.
2x=14
we divide 2 to both sides.
we get x=7
final answer:x=7
