6y = -2x +36

y =(-2/6) x+ 36/6

y=(-1/3)x +6

compare this equation to y=mx+b where b is the y-intercept so the

y-intercept is a point at (0, 6)

to find the x-intercept make the equation equal to 0

(-1/3)x+6=0 subtract 6 in both sides

(-1/3)x = -6 cross multiply

-x = 3*-6

x=18 so the

x-intercept is a point at (18,0)
