a) At temperatures over 45 °C, the enzymes in biological washing powders do not function on stains on textiles. (b) Thermophilic bacteria are bacteria that survive in hot springs at temperatures of 80 °C. Enzymes were isolated from these thermophilic bacteria by scientists.
