Answer:

A

Explanation:

The equation for a graph is y=mx+b

The b is the y-intercept, or what the y-value is at x=0 (x is horizontal or left and right, y is vertical or up and down). At x=0, y is at 1, so it has to be +1.

The m is the slope, or the rise over run, which you solve by doing the equation (y2-y1)/(x2-x1). You do this by taking one set of coordinate positions, let's say (0,1), and another, let's say (1,3). The first set is your x1 and y1, and the second set is your x2 and y2. In this case, x1=0,y1=1,x2=1,y2=3

then do the equation. (3-1)/(1-0) 2/1=2, so the slope, or m, is 2.

y=2x+1

(2x) is the slope because the slope is going up the slope will be positive and the (1) is the y intercept which means where the slope crosses the vertical line
