How do you convert 4x = 8 to y=mx+b? and what is the answer?

Answer:

y= mx+b is the slope intercept form

(0,8)

You put the equation into the intercept form.

y-4x=8

you add 4x to both sided to cancel out the -4x.

y=4x+8

then solve for the y- coordinate leaving you with 0 as the x and 8 as the y.

So it is (0,8)
