Dear editor.
Because I believe in your work and the credibility of your newspaper, I decided to write you this letter, in the certainty that you will disclose the situation in my community, encouraging us to receive help.
I live in the colony Dayal Bagh, in New Delhi and we have a malfunction of the water supply for weeks, precisely, for a month. This causes us to go for days without water and that when we have water, it is for a very short period of time.
As you already know, we are going through a very serious pandemic, where hand washing and hygiene is essential to prevent infection. Without water we are at the mercy of compromised hygiene, not to mention all the discomfort we are subjected to.
We have already been in contact with the water supply sector and have received no response, not even a justification or a prediction of when the problem would be resolved.
I humbly ask you to publish my report and help us to draw the attention of national politics and any other institution that can help us, because alone we will not be able to.
