5X=-7+22
Or,5x=15
Or,x=15/5
.
. .x=3

5x-22=-7
Move -22 to the other side
Sign changes from-22 to +22
5x-22+22=-7+22
5x=-7+22
5x= 15
Divide both sides by 5 to get x by itself
5x/5= 15/5
x= 3

x= 3
