Mr. Zeiner is deciding what will be the best deal for his ice cream diet. He could buy 16 ounces of ice cream for $7.99 from Richardson’s. He could also buy 6 ounces of ice cream for $3.29 from Friendly’s. What is the better buy? Challenge: See if you could solve it 2 different ways. Extra challenge: See if you can solve it four different ways ☺

Richardson’s ice cream would be .49 $ for one ounce. you would divide both 7.99 and 16 by 16. Friendlys ice cream would be .54$ and ounce. to do that you would divide both 6 and 3.29 by 6. Richardson’s ice cream is a better buy.
