Is the following relation a function?

No , because it doesn’t have a pattern . For example put the numbers in a chart 1+3 = 4 , -1+3 =2 , 3+7=10 , 5+11=16 , there’s no pattern

Explanation:

The reason is that there are no repeated x values which make the relation a function 1, -1, 3, and 5 are different so it makes it a function.
