i have it convert a number in scientific notation and it's asking me where should I move the decimal point ​

Answer: if i were to convert a Scientific notation and it was 5.1³ then i would move the decimal point 3 times making it 5100 but if it were some thing like 5.123² you'd move the decimal 2 pts. making 512.3

Answer: When converting from Scientific Notation to a standard or normal notation, use the value of the exponent to determine the number of places to move the decimal point. Move the decimal place to the right if the exponent is positive and move the decimal place to the left if the exponent is negative.
