If you know the genotypes of the parents, what can you use to determine the possible genotypes of the offspring

you can use a punnett square to find the genotypes of the offspring. let’s say that one parent had a trait with the genotype AA, and the other had Aa. their children would have a 50% chance of being AA and a 50% chance of being Aa. you simply combine the letters that correspond with a given box, like in a times table.
