Answer:

width:6, length:18

Explanation:

You can subsititue width with x.

The length would then be 2x+6.

The value of width and length combined is 24.

The equation would be (2x+6)+(x)=24

Simplify to 3x+6=24

Subtract 6 from both sides giving 3x=18

Simplify to x=6

There's the width. Now you can substitute to find the length.

(6x2)+6=18

I hope this is right.
